Welcome to Golden Doodle Publications

Goldendoodle Publications is an educational publication company that began in 2007.  Our goal is to enhance education by publishing books that are designed to help educators create innovative programs.   

The company name was inspired by our first such innovation, a set of two books that promote a program featuring helper dogs in schools.  These two books together are designed to support educators through all of the steps necessary to develop a solid, successful dog program in their schools.

Dogs In School is our step by step guide to development and implementation of such a program.

Miss Siggy Speaks, the companion book to Dogs in School, highlights our bully prevention, character education program.  Miss Siggy Speaks features “Dear Siggy” letters, written by the children at Miss Siggy’s school.  Miss Siggy is a service-therapy dog in Pine Bush Elementary School in Guilderland New York, and is the author of an advice column.  The letters are answered by Miss Siggy herself using her famous “Dog Psychology”.

This innovative and creative program is easy to recreate.  The books provide educators and administrators with the knowledge and tools necessary to start such a program in their own schools.  Samples of grants and documents are provided along with the legal permissions to freely reproduce them for your own program.
